16:16 – 4800 block of Liberty Ave: Misuse of a credit card complaint filed.
20:24 – Liberty Ave: Driver stopped for a moving violation was found to be suspended.
October 31, 2017
00:45 – 4100 block of Liberty Ave: Officer observed suspicious activity at a local business and observed two males attempting to break into coin machines. The suspects were arrested and transported to Lorain County Jail pending arraignment.
04:28 – 3500 block of Liberty Ave: An unknown subject attempted to break a store front window at a gas station with a brick. The suspect was unable to gain entry.
08:37 – Vermilion Municipal Court: Subjects served with outstanding arrest warrants.
November 1, 2017
21:08 – Liberty Ave: Motor vehicle accidents with no injuries.
21:58 – 4800 block of Liberty Ave: Clerk advised an officer that a subject in the store appeared to have a medical emergency. The officer checked the subject and determined he was overdosing. The subject was transported to Mercy for treatment and then taken to Erie County Jail for possession of Heroin.
November 2, 2017
10:34 – Sanford Street: Motor vehicle accident with no injuries.
12:19 – Vermilion Municipal Court: Subject served with outstanding arrest warrants.
14:35 – 200 block of Parkland Blvd: Telecommunications Harassment complaint filed.
November 3, 2017
02:14 – 5600 block of Liberty Ave: Report of a fight in progress in a parking lot. Two subjects were arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported to the station.
11:26 – Liberty Ave: Motor vehicle accident with no injury.
November 4, 2017
00:15 – Liberty Ave: Driver stopped for a moving violation was found to be under suspension.
10:37 – 300 block of Fairfax Road: Unit dispatched to a residence in reference to chickens. Subject had been previously warned that he could not raise chickens in the area and was cited into court.
16:47 – 600 block of South Shore Court: Caller advised a protection order violation had occurred. Caller was referred to the prosecutor when the issue was investigated.
22:42 – Liberty Ave: Driver stopped for a moving violation was found to be under the influence and arrested.
November 5, 2017
11:06 – Douglas Street: Driver cited for a speed violation.
11:30 – SR2: Driver cited for a speed violation.
