16:46 – Main Street Beach: Female reported a suspicious person asking personal questions. The area was checked but the subject was not located. The incident is still under investigation.

10:51 – 1100 block of Sweetbriar Drive: Assault complaint filed.
20:25 – 1900 block of Claus Road: Theft complaint filed.

09:52 – 300 block of Niagara Road: Welfare check requested.
10:10 – Sunnyside Road: Motor vehicle accident with no injuries.
15:51 – 300 block of Essex Road: Domestic Violence complaint filed. Parties were separated for the night.
16:51 – Main Street: Motor vehicle accident with no injuries.
18:47 – Liberty Ave: Driver stopped for a moving violation was found to be under suspension.
22:22 – Edson Street: Driver stopped for a moving violation was found to be under the influence and arrested for OVI and driving under suspension.
September 29, 2017
13:34 – 600 block of South Shore Court: Report of a possible overdose. Subject was transported to Mercy for treatment.
14:30 – 4700 block of Liberty Ave: Theft complaint filed.
18:02 – 500 block of Ferndale Drive: Driver stopped for a moving violation was found to be under suspension as well as several outstanding arrest warrants.
18:15 – 1900 block of Claus Road: Theft report filed over missing jewelry.
22:27 – 3100 block of Roanoke Drive: Caller reported seeing a suspicious person attempting to enter a vehicle. The K9 unit was dispatched and tracked the area but was unable to locate the subject.
23:50 – West River Road: Driver stopped for a moving violation was found to be under suspension and arrested for OVI.
September 30, 2017
14:36 – 4600 block of Liberty Ave: Property damage complaint over vehicle damage.
15:56 – 350 block of Salem Drive: Assist EMS with a transport to Mercy.
16:11 – Liberty Ave: Driver stopped for a moving violation was found to be under suspension.
October 1, 2017
02:14 – 1300 block of Rolling Meadows: Caller reporting subjects knocking on the front door. Several juveniles were later located and turned over to their parents after being cited for curfew violations.
12:47 – 1200 Birchview Drive: Telecommunications harassment complaint filed.
23:43 – 300 block of Woodridge Road: Caller reporting an ex-boyfriend broke into her residence and stole some tools. The suspect was later located and taken into custody. He was charged with Burglary and taken to Lorain County Jail pending arraignment.
