The Lorain County Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) is continuing the Back to School Amnesty Program through the month of August 2017. The month of August is recognized throughout the State of Ohio as Child Support Awareness month. In an effort to promote child support awareness, the Agency will be extending the Amnesty Program one more month. CSEA will re-instate a defaulting child support obligor’s driver’s license upon the payment of one month’s worth of child support. The obligor must also pay a $25.00 re-instatement fee to the BMV. (If they go to a local office, it is $35.00).
If you have any questions regarding the Amnesty Program, please feel free to contact the Agency at 440-284-4401. Thank you for your time and assistance in helping to promote this program within the community.
