Starting the week of June 12, all garbage pick-ups will be on Wednesday. It was originally reported that it would start the week of June 5, but it has been postponed one week. Starting Wednesday, June 14, all garbage for all Vermilion residents will be picked up on Wednesdays.

The decision to change garbage pick-up was made by Republic, not the city, so any changes in staff would be their decision.
